Exercise: All the principles of exercise and osteoporosis are presented. You learn what exercises are safe and what exercises can increase your risk of spinal fractures. An easy powerful Qigong exercise is taught.

Relaxation: We uncover what stress is actually doing to our bones and our overall health.  We start with a tool that can be used everywhere and anywhere to begin to help us have more resiliency so we are not victims of the stress we encounter in or lives.

Happiness: Our thoughts are very powerful and can have major health implications. We go over the power of positive thoughts and learn how we can utilize this technique in our lives.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Module Two: Absorbing our Food and Life”][vc_column_text]Nutrition: We are not just what we eat but what we digest and absorb. We explore digestion and learn tools we can all use to improve our digestion and maximize our absorption of the important nutrients for our bones and overall health. The tips discussed in this module will even help with digestive issues such as constipation and bloating.

Exercise: The principles of good posture are presented. Posture exercises are taught that can easily be incorporated into your life to help you improve your posture.

Relaxation: Different methods of journaling for relaxation are presented as a powerful tool.

Happiness: Learn how intuition can play a role in your own happiness.

This flexibility can be the difference if our bones break if we sustain a fall. A healthy collagen matrix is essential for this flexibility. In this module, we explore the two main components of the collagen matrix that we can influence with our diet.

Exercise: As we age, unfortunately our ability to balance decreases. The good news is that by learning specific balance exercises we can counteract this and continue to maintain and even improve our balance as we age. Easy balance exercises including tai chi are presented in this module.

Relaxation: Another great relaxation technique that uses the mind and our imagination is taught.

Happiness: A principle that is proven to increase happiness and quality of life is discussed and we learn how to incorporate it into our lives.

We explore which fats are healthy and how we can use them in our diets. We also go over which fats can be detrimental to our bones and overall health. The topic of fats also includes oils, nuts, and seeds.

Exercise: The Pilates Method offers us some fabulous bone strengthening and core stabilizing exercises. Penny Shure is an outstanding Pilates instructor who has created two excellent teaching videos that we use in this program. The first is a beginner, gentle Pilates video which demonstrates the basic Pilates concepts that you can start right away. The second is a standing Pilates video. Both videos are wonderful compliments to any exercise program.

Relaxation: The powerful technique of Tapping is presented and you are given a Tapping for Relaxation video to use to help you learn this useful skill.

Happiness: We explore the power of forgiveness and go over two easy forgiveness techniques to add to your happiness tool kit.

Relaxation: Learn what meditation is about and how you can easily incorporate the principles into your life. A guided meditation is included that you can use whenever you like.

Happiness: It is important that we have outlets to clear negativity from our lives. Two great techniques are taught. One is a Qigong exercise that is very effective and easy to do.
