Sara Meeks has specialized in the physical therapy management of osteoporosis and spinal pathology since 1984. APTA Certified Geriatric Clinical Specialist and Certified Kripalu Yoga Instructor, she is the creator of the Meeks Method, a comprehensive 12-part program for the conservative management of people with osteoporosis, low bone mass, postural problems, and back pain. She trains physical therapists, medical and exercise professionals in the Meeks Method. She is the author of two books on bone health. She is working on the next editions plus a new book on yoga and yoga-inspired movement and exercise for better bone health. In today’s talk, Sara enlightens us on the importance of exercise and postural alignment when it comes to our bones.
