Penelope is an osteoporosis exercise specialist who has been teaching Pilates with modifications for special needs populations for 20 years. She developed the Million Dollar Bones program in 2011 to help prevent osteoporosis. She believes that knowledge is power and that the consequences of learning healthy lifestyle habits at a young age will make significant positive impacts on their lives and futures. In today’s talk Penelope is going to tell us about Skeletoning, a fun, weight bearing class that uses music and dance to help build strong bones.
