Craig’s Breakfast Smoothie


  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 2 tablespoons raw shelled organic hemp seeds
  • 1 tablespoons almond butter (raw preferred)
  • 2 almonds
  • 2 Brazil nuts
  • 1/4 cup broccoli sprouts
  • 1 handful of organic kale
  • 1/2 cup organic strawberries
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/4 avocado
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Honey to sweeten if needed


  • Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend on high speed until smooth.
  • Be sure to add enough water so that the smoothie is drinkable but still thick (total liquid should be an inch or two above the other ingredients before blending). You can also make it thicker and eat it with a spoon.

Notes from Margie: For anyone with blood sugar issues, I would omit the banana and sweeten with stevia if needed.
